Batard
Batard is a fine wining experience. It is a spot for those of you who love to combine fine wine with fine dining and it doesn’t disappoint! I had everything from cavier to Hong Kong signature dish - suckling pig to the most delicious apple tart. We had a 2016 wine called Chauteau De La Maltroye which came by recommendation and it very nicely complimented the meal.
In terms of Ambience I would say it has a chilled, stylish yet calm atmosphere. The decor is simplistic yet classic - lots of glass which I love, wood and some plants to make the place green, cozy and modern, the music played was soft and jazz like which I enjoyed. I must say that the most attractive part of this venue is the wine cellar which is encaspulated in glass and this makes the venue look somewhat spectacular and unique.
It s is a great place to go with friends and even for a business meeting. It also has a nice bar which could be good for a date or for date night with your loved one.
In terms of dress code I would recommend smart casual.

I personally loved the Ambience of this venue - its just my kind of place - chilled, classy, simple decor not too much. I have to say that although I love the decor of the venue, the bathrooms did let it down as it was just too basic in my opinion for that kind of venue and the price - I expected more. Sorry Batard.
The service was very good with very attentive staff. The food was really really nice but I do have to be honest and say I have tasted better suckling pig elsewhere.
Most of all I loved the experience of walking into Batard massive wine celler. I saw mature wines dated from 1974 and I am sure there were more mature wines than that. This was a great experience and you do feel like you are revisiting history in some way which I found to be nostalgic.
